He woke up early and watched his favorite show Lego Ninjago.
Now Logan is 8 he can go to cub scouts.
Also he got some of his very own scriptures. Logan's cousin Brooklyn also turns 8 this month and will get baptized the first of December. Rather than make Grandma Bryant chose which baptism she wants to go to, Logan is going to be baptized in January. This will work well for his Grandma Bryant, but also his cousins from Omaha will be in town in January so they can be a part of his special day.
He also got a Lego Ninjago toy.
Church was pretty emotional for Jill. The busy time of planning a funeral was behind her, and now with a little time she could think and let all of this bad news sink in.
After church she was able to get in a little nap which was much needed because of her late night preparing the house for our company tonight. All of the Bryant's and Bunkalls came to our house for dinner to celebrate the boys birthdays. It was nice to see everyone, and they are all so kind and generous.
We picked up a cake from Costco and let the boys customize it with some of their Ninja toys.
Aunt Kandis is always the life of the party.
This week we need to get word out to all of our closest friends so they hear about Jill being sick from us. We decided to let Bishop Burton share the news with Ward Council next Sunday. Tonight Jill went to her friend Tiffany's house to tell her. Today at church I asked Kevin if he could go for a run with me tomorrow. I figured that a conversation like we needed to have was best done over a run.
This week we hope to hear the results of the MRI, and begin formulating a plan to remove the cancer.

Happy Birthday Logan!!
ReplyDeleteI love how our kids are so close in age, and are really so much alike. I hope Logan loves scouts and getting baptized like Mason did. He feels so old now.
ReplyDeleteYou're in our prayers. We are thinking of you.
