Alyssa has been anxiously waiting to be old enough to participate in Bryant Baking Day for the longest time. Grandma Bryant usually waits until granddaughters are 11 years old before they can come to Baking Day, but for the youngest granddaughter, she made an exception. Alyssa was so happy! Jill enjoyed the help and loved having Alyssa join her.
They baked and baked and baked, and had a lovely time visiting. After working all morning, they took a break for lunch. Grandpa bought them all burgers and fries at In and Out Burgers.
They sure worked hard and made a lot of delicious treats. Jill and Alyssa assembled over 45 plates of treats to give to neighbors. It's such a fun tradition! The bonus is that we get to cross off our neighbor gifts all in one day. The neighbors love it too!
Our ward Christmas breakfast was held the same day as Baking Day. The boys and I had a nice breakfast and enjoyed visiting with neighbors. For the first time, the boys didn't even sit on Santa's lap.
Alyssa wrote this cute note to Santa.
Playing a game of Blokus, Landon had a brilliant idea.
