Our sweet Alyssa is so terrific. She read one day that 4th-6th grade classes would each have a student representative on the Student Council. She thought about it and asked her teacher if she could be on the Student Council. She first had to have her 3rd grade teacher sign off and, of course, Miss Olson thought Alyssa would be wonderful. Alyssa turned in her application to her teacher and was chosen to represent her class!
Alyssa attends council meetings each month during lunch recess. She loves going to the meetings and representing the 4th grade. She and the other council members lead the recycling effort at the school. Each Monday, they collect the recycling from each classroom and take it to the dumpster. They also help with parties and service projects. They planned and hosted a Halloween haunted house, planned a service project collecting diapers for the homeless shelter, and sold "kindy" grams in February (cards with candy). The Student Council also attended a Leadership Conference at BYU this fall. Alyssa is so happy being involved and does a great job.

Riverton has a Fall Festival and now it's just our girl who attends.
The boys are doing great in football this season. Both boys play pretty much every play: Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. They contribute a lot to their teams and do a great job. Here are some pictures of this season.
Even though his team didn't have a lot of wins, Logan had a great experience playing his games this year. They were all held on high school fields, either at Summit Academy or Mountain Ridge High. He thought it was fun to play on a high school field and we liked watching from the bleachers.
Alyssa has found her sport in Volleyball. She loves it.
