Christmas Traditions

Landon and I got up on the slopes for our first time skiing for the season.  We got ski passes again this year and are excited to ski again.  Sadly I didn't take a ton of pictures.  The boys are both getting really good at skiing and we have some good times up at Brighton.

Logan had a date with a girl from our stake who is really great.  She is a senior while Logan is a Junior but she knows Logan from school and she asked him out.  Jill and I really like this girl and her family so we would love it if Logan dated her more. Turns out Sydney was helping her younger twin siblings with their first date and they all made Christmas decorations.

The Schow family produced a live nativity program this year.  It was so well done with microphones, live animals, hot chocolate, and the program was really nice.

It's down to the 12 days of Christmas and we are still giving small gifts for the children after dinner each night.  It's getting harder because Logan is often times working or out and so our family traditions are changing. Landon and Alyssa love opening presents after dinner.

To celebrate Christmas this year we went to the Hale Center Theater to see "A Christmas Carol".  The play was so good.  The children enjoyed the show too.

We got some heavy snow this December and it covered our deck.

The children got to play in the snow and have some fun. Alyssa specifically loves playing in the snow.

One of the 12 day presents was ginger bread house kit.  The children had a fun time decorating.
