Pioneer Day

Our boys man camp ended on July 24th, and we all came home and the Bunkall's hosted a water fight.  I stayed back to get things ready for our neighborhood party, but Jill took some fun pictures of the children playing in the water.

Somehow I was able to grill burgers for roughly 100 neighbors that came over for food and fun.

We used the deck for serving food and then people could go down on the lawn and eat.

For entertainment this year, we had Darren Gneiting and Todd Fisher play guitar for us.  They are really great on the guitar and they rocked out with familiar songs we could sing along too.  They used the deck as a stage and everyone enjoyed the show from their lawn chair.

We had some trouble with the air conditioning in Jill's van and with the price of used vehicles being so high, I quickly posted pictures online and within a day the van was gone.  Jill loved her van and it was a bit emotional saying goodbye.  It was bold to sell without even having a new car lined up yet, but she could drive my truck.  Also with COVID still lingering, we were all at home, so we didn't need so many cars.

At the end of July, Jill took the children miniature golfing.  They all looked so styling in their golf attire. It was a really full month.
