Triathlon and First Day of School

Each year our Stake hosts a mini triathlon.  Our boys didn't train at all, but decided to join in the fun. 

It's pretty legit organizers marked their arms and everything.  

It starts at our Riverton pool and everyone swims (walks) a couple hundred yards. 

They run to their bicycles and ride for about 5 miles. 

Then they begin the 2 mile run. 2 miles is a lot when you haven't trained, but they both did really great. 

They had a great time and hopefully they will do it again next year.  

School came early this year.  Logan began on August 16th and then Landon and Alyssa started on August 17th. Its really great to have him drive himself.  He was pretty excited. 

Landon is now walking to the bus stop over our canal.  He is so happy to be with his friends again at Hidden Valley. 

Alyssa get's to be on safety patrol this year and she is a big 6th grader!  

Her best pal Calli decided to move from Riverton Elementary school to Southland like Alyssa did the year before.  Alyssa was really happy to have Calli at school with her. 

Summer is officially over.  It's so sad, but we are now able to get back into some routines and back to structure.
